Introduction:

VMware Workstation offers a robust platform for running multiple operating systems on a single machine. This guide outlines a step-by-step process for downloading, installing, and running Ubuntu within VMware Workstation, providing users with the ability to explore the Ubuntu operating system without the need for a dedicated physical machine.

Step 1: Download VMware Workstation

1.1 Download the latest version of VMware Workstation  **Download VMware**  .

1.2 Once you click on Download Fusion or Workstation, it navigate to the Broadcom Sign-In page.

1.3 You need to create an account and log in to download a VMware Workstation ( I have chosen for VMware Workstation Pro 17.0 for Personal Use (Windows)).

1.4 There are numerous versions displayed (I have chosen 17.5.2).

1.5 Click on “Download”.

Now that you have downloaded VMware Workstation, it is ready to be installed.
